I'd written some pop fiction about the end of the world...
I decided that the final days would be quite beautiful in their own way. For the cover, I used a shot I'd taken in Fuerteventura back in 2006. I had photographed similar landscapes in Nevada over the years, but decided that the Apocalypse, when it came, would be somehow more fitting off the coast of North Africa... Besides... it wouldn't draw a lot of attention in Las Vegas.
Hold me now, in your tender arms
We've gone so far, into the stars
At the end of everything, we remember everything
No more tides, or seas and rain
We watch the world's demise and save our lives
At the end of everything, we remember everything
The Arks of Eve, ten thousand deep
All lit up for the pick of the babies
The frozen clouds and painted leaves
Are just hand me downs and deeds
As our world ignites ten million lights
We leave our Gods behind on mountain sides
At the end of everything, we remember everything
